Use of this item is intended to give the user a place to connect a hose to the cooling system, while servicing the EGR. O-ring groove is designed to for using the OEM gasket.

Note: Smooth transition from the Engine Block to the hose barb, I wasn't happy with other options on the market that were just a flat plate with a hole. I didn't want all that turbulence and potential for cavitation in my cooling system so I took this approach.
